I would like some information about the name: Ama
Dear Group!!
I just signed up. My name is Angelica. I first took a look at my name and found a fair amount of information. I then looked up my friend's name in New Zealand (she is born and raised there) and couldn't find anything at all - except that the origin is believed to be African. As she has lived in New Zealand all her life, is there anyone here who can tell me more about this lovely and unusual name? For instance, where (which countries) is the name prevalent in, and is there any cultural significance to the name? and any other historical background?Thank you,
Angelica
