Re: Has anyone heard of Lemander?
Lemander appears to be either a surname, or more used as a last than a first name. I found two women on Google with it as a given name, both whitebread Americans, one b. early 18th century, the other b. early 19th. Although it probalby is from some part of Britain, the "Le" on the beginning suggests French influence, because "le" is French for "the", and it begins many French surnames.
