Bria is a bit older then that, or so I thought. Am I completely wrong, though?

I don't know when the first person ever named Bria was born. However, the frequent use of this name for girls in the USA goes back to Eddie Murphy and his wife naming their daughter Bria in 1989. Since Briana first entered the Social Security top 1000 list for girls in the USA in 1973, the regular use of Briana as a girls' name definitely came before the regular use of Bria, at least in the United States.
