Oh dear - you left out the interesting bits ...
Where did you find them? Are they widely used? When - in Ireland today? In Ireland some time in the past, and if so, when exactly? Where - Ireland? America, by people in search of their Irish roots?
I must say, I find the meaning you give for Kellan rather dubious. Warrior princesses tend to inhabit fantasy games and novels rather than real peoples' real homes.
