Do you mean your Irish/Scottish friend is named Labren? Or that your friend has the name Labren and thinks it's Gaelic? Or that your friend has been assignned a 'Gaelic' name by someone who may, or may not, have a lick of Gaelic in their linguistic bucket?I know of nothing even close to Labren in Gaelic. Best shot is the word labhrach which would be pronounced LAV-rahk and means 'loquacious, talkative'. Domhnall - you have a guess here?Devon
