Hi Solita,
even if sol is Spanish for sun, little sun in proper Spanish would be solcita or solecita. Solita means little loner as it is a diminutive form of "sola", which is the female form for "alone".
However, in some Spanish speaking countries, people do use "solito" referring to "a little sun", so it would depend totally on what whomever gave you such name meant by it... as usual, it comes to that.

One thin is for sure, it is a Spanish female word, meaning either "little loner" or "little sun".
