Re: Is Saskia popular in Europe?
I can't say about the rest of Europe, but in the Netherlands it's popularity ranking for 2008 was: 199 (so it's in the top 200 here :P)

Do you maybe have a link to the Dutch charts? I'd love to see the new ones:-)

:DRecently added (top 100):http://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/100nl2008.php
All names given in 2008:http://svb.nl/int/nl/kinderbijslag/actueel/kindernamen/kindernamen_alle_namen_2008.jspClick "alle jongensnamen uit 2008" for all the boys names, and the other for the girls names. The bad thing is that it's sorted by alphabet...This would help. The meanings of the words in the PDF:
"Nummer" - denotes the ranking
"Voornaam" - means "first name"
"Aantal keer" - means "Number of times (given)"

OMG, amazing. Thanks for that link! I love that you can see every single name used. I wish they'd do that for every country. And another OMG: Daphne is on rank #85. I can't decide if that makes me want to immigrate to Holland or stay as far away from it as possible. ;P

Yeah, it's the benefit of living in a relatively small country :)This is the first year they've done this though, before they only posted the top 20. I was SOOOO excited when I first came across this list :D
