Subject: Aldon and Aleda

Hello, me again. I have encountered these and I can't find very much accurate info on them.

As for Aldon, I belive it is most likely a variant of Old English Aldon, or possibly Eldon. Which is more likely?

And for Aleda, I believe it's a variant form of Adelaide, but through what? Alida, the Hungarian form? Or another?

Thanks for any help,

Melina
