Jamaihair would sound like "J'mere", or "zh'mere" in French pronunciation, if it's of French origin or influence.
On the other hand, if it's of Arabic origin or influence, then it's "Ja-my-ha-ear"
I hope no one will make fun of the child by saying "Jam my hair"!
IMHO, this name is of Arabic origin, but maybe from a region that speaks French now? Some countries in Africa speak either Arabic or French as their official languages, so it'll depend on where the name's really from and what the current pronunciation is from the originating location/country/language.
