I am desperately trying to find out the correct origin and nickname or other name that translates to English for the male name Vlatko.

Hi there thanks for responding. I have looked up Vladimir but couldnt see a connection anywhere. There are a few People called Vlatko in history one of them was The Duke of Bosnia Vlatko Vukovic died in 1392 and another Vlatko was a prime minister. This is why i dont think it is a nickname. It is driving me crazy trying to figure this one out!!
