While I am unable to find information as to the origin and meaning, it most certainly IS a real name.

I am guessing that it is quite possibly Latin in origin because of the presence of the root "dura", from which we derive the modern Anglian words "endurance" and "duration".

And, of course, one could take the contemporary view of combining roots, in which case Ann+Dura="Lasting Grace"
