Denis -Medieval form of DIONYSIUS.
Cynthia -Latinized form of Greek Kynthia which means "woman from Kynthos"
So how is Denis connected to Cindia?

The poster wasn't asking about Cindia but Idenis which has some visual resemblence to Denis.
