In the recent japanese cartoon K-ON, Yui the main characters little sister in called Ui. I was curious about that name, but i couldn't find it in the database. I was hoping that someone would have more information. And i'm sorry, i don't know kanji spelling.

Ui exists as a Japanese female name, but I don't have any statistics on usage. The Japanese Girl's Name Project (which is now offline) lists 45 different kanji spellings.
