It says in the database that this is the Scandinavian form of Igor. I just wanted to check to make sure that it has no connection to Ivar / Ivor... it doesn't, right?

Ingvar and Ivar do not have the same origin but in Sweden at least Ivar has also been used as a short form for Ingvar, so no connection etymologically but in usage.
