Despite the fact that I don't like your tone asking me where I got this idea, I'll tell you where I got that idea.I think it's called Name Voyager or something like that, and it has a feature that lets you see how popular names are in different states. Demetrius only cracked the top 100 (or something like that) in Alabama.-------------------------------------------------------

I think you were reading a "tone" into my question that wasn't there. :)It would be interesting to know what data they are using. I checked the Alabama state top 100 lists on the SSA website back through 1990, and Demetrius was not among the top 100 names in Alabama in any of the last 18 years.

I don't know if it says or not, but there's a link to it on the Namenerds site. It's something like Name Voyager, and it has this Name Mapper feature where you can see where names are popular. It said that Demetrius was popular in Alabama, but they might not be using the SSA's data. Maybe it says on the website?P.S. I'm sorry for the comment I made about your tone. Tones are hard to judge over the Internet when we're not talking face-to-face.
