Greek name Óèåííþ (Sthenno)

I'm having a hard time to find the etymology of the Greek mythological name Óèåííþ (Sthenno). I found in some websites that it means "forceful", but without any etym I take that with a grain of salt.

Any idea about the etymology?

There certainly is a Greek root "sthen-" which meant "strength":

Sthenno is rooted in the word sthenos (= strength, might). While this and other names including masculine counterparts based on sthenos stand independently, they are more commonly recognized in compound names like Demosthenes, Kleisthenes and Kallisthenia (itself the root for callisthenics).

And because Greek is also the language of science and medicine you will find it in many related terms, as the link provided by Mr. Evans attests.

Thank you very much

I was so blinded with the name, trying to find the etymology for it, that I didn't think in some words as asthenia! Sometimes I need an out-of-the-box input.
