It appears to be a Hebrew name meaning "God is my crown" or "my crown is God". It would be masculine, though I have found a fairly even mix of males and females with this name upon searching. I have yet to come across Katriela, but if the feminine of Gabriel is Gabriela / Gabriella, then I don't see why it wouldn't work.
