Re: How do you pronounce Przemysł? [nt.]
Its pronounced (pSHEH-MIS-we) or [ˈpʂɛmɨɕl]in IPA. Though I have heard it pronounced with the last L silented. The Rz proceeded by a P in Polish makes a very strong SH sound, place the tip of your tongue on the ridge of your mouth and make the SH sound. The P is pronounced proceeded by the RZ so its pSHEH. You can actually hear audio to get a better idea
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Przemy%C5%9BlPrzemysl is a town on the Ukrainian border, you might already know that, the last train stop in Poland before you end up in the Ukraine. http://www.legitbabenames.wordpress.com/

Shaymin,I believe you may be familiar with the Polish language. It's my first language and I have to disagree about what you called the last L. It's not an L, it's a Ł which is pronounced like an English W.My approximation of the pronunciation would be psheh-MIH-sw (with the last syllable being an s like in hiss going into a w as if it were the first letter of a word; the Polish rz in this name is impossible to really approximate in English).

Thanks Kirke. I don't remember the name for it so I didn't know what else to call it.
