Jogerata??
This is off topic, I know and I'm sorry, but you just can't search for words you can't spell online. Plus, you guys are the smartest people I know.
I am watching a show, which is supposed to be fairly historically accurate, and they mentioned there is a small Asian country pronounced [Jawg-er-AW-tah]. The year is supposed to be 1878 I believe, and the show is based in Japan. Thanks for any help and sorry again -_-'~ SD

The only thing that comes to my mind is Jakarta, capital of Indonesia...? Maybe you can find it by googling the show you mentioned and search in the content description?*****

Oh I think I love you ;)Yep, it is Jakarta. The Prince was Prince Sheen of the Jakarta republic. Whenever they said where he was from if deffinately sounded like there were 2 extra syllables, eg. 'Jah-kawrt-awr-ah-tah'. Perhaps they carried on the Japanese pronounciation into the english version, or maybe that's how Jakarta was pronounced in the late 1800s in english or japanese. Thanks a bunch!~ SD
