I've seen Vida (Scottish or Hebrew) and Vala (German) and Ada (French, German, English, African or Hebrew), but I've not seen nor heard of Vada.

I have heard it. I suppose it's a female counterpart of VADIM.

(It means "defect, flaw" in Czech, BTW. A Czech handbook on names claims Vadim could mean "maligned". Probably not.)
