Hi, Phyllis. I know about athames -- and that their use is primarily symbolic. The point I was attempting to make, is that the Sigil of Baphomet pentagram is also merely a symbol. :) What's more, a pentagram is far less likely to cause physical damage to a person than a dagger or a sword when in the wrong hands.
As for the guy who tried to run over the cat and got in a car accident... Let's hope he survived. So he can have another accident. And another. And another... (One very practical reason why the vast majority of Satanists are opposed to capital punishment.)
