I am French from Montreal (Qc Canada), my great-aunt's name was Ismeria. She was born around 1880. At the time, many Quebec girls were given names from English - Like Cordelia, Victoria, etc.
I can't find the name Ismeria anywhere.. but as a lepidoptere (butterfly) Maliteae Ismeria... What Ismeria means and who was the First one ?
