does anybody know what Zalumma means? it's a female name and i think it's east european or west asian.

Although I'm not certain, I believe that it mean "star" and originates from somewhere around the Caspian Sea.

I'm not sure about that. I guess this refers to Zaluma Agra ("Star of the East"), the Circassian beauty at Barnum's, who was in fact a local girl.

I tend to believe that Zalumma or Zaluma is a feminime (Circassian) variation of the name SOLOMON.

P.S. Zaluma Agra, who was said to be the daughter of the Circassian prince Agra.
