Well, the name actually exists, with various spellings. I am not sure about the origin of the name, because I found it has been used as a woman's name in Europe in the 19th century, as well as a man's name in Zaire in the 20th century.

Mozalia is a town in the north-east of Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaire). The name Mosalia (also used as a man's name) in Swahili means "left".

But I also found a text, stating that there was a port or coastal town named Mosalia (Muslipatna) in ancient Orissa (a state of India, located on the east coast of India, by the Bay of Bengal)
