I am not sure what you mean with "German spelling". Ehrlich, spelled exactly like that, is indeed in use as a family name in Germany.

As for the family crest, a quick search of mine did not turn up anything useful. I don't know much about this "family crest" and "coat of arms" things. Isn't there only a realistic chance for a *genuine* family crest for a Germany family if it happens to be nobility, which means genuine family crests for only a small minority of family names?

Of course any odd genealogy site can easily come up with something nice-looking for almost any family name, but that does not make it genuine, if you ask me...
