My name is kinda made up...
hello, My mum named me after a couple of things. A street sign that says "Kryzstal" and a mix of Krista. My name is Kryzdy. so how would I define or change it to elvish??? It is pronounced Krih-zDEE. I am a girl.Please help!!!KKaye016

Alright, I'm assuming you're talking Tolkien when you say Elvish. Ignoring the street sign, which I haven't the faintest idea how to figure into this, you're name basically means "christian" of "lover of God". One Elvish translation of it could be Iluvatarnurien (Iluvatar= The One [Father of All in the Silmarillion]; nur= "lover of"; ien= female name suffix). Or instead of "Iluvatar" you could use "Eru", though it is not strictly Elvish. Also, other alternatives for "nur" would be "dil", "dur", and "nil". It's a real mix and match sort of thing. Basically, pick whatever you like the best. Another idea is to translate it "Daughter of God" which would come out "Iluvatariel" (-iel meaning "daughter of"). Well, that was rather long and complicated, but I hope it was helpful!!! (I like you name; wish MY mom had paid more attention to street signs!!!)
