Your explanation sounds convincing, Satu. Still I would like to see some proof that this name really exsists. I have never come across any name containing the Germanic element "giv" or "giw". I've got a suspicion, that the name in question here might not be OTGIVA but rather OTVIGA. But here again I have no proof that this name really exsist or exsisted. But at least I can be sure the second element does. Maybe you know more, Satu …
