All I know is that she was born in the 1860s in Arkansas, her father has a German surname but was also born in Arkansas, and her mother was Cherokee. Her sisters were named Ellen, Amelia, and Sarah Ann.

My Grandmother's name was Minnie Alzora (Williams) Abbott.
My Mother's name was Chloie Alzora (Abbott) Talley, and my daughter's middle name is Alzora.
The name Alzora came from our Cherokee side.
My Great Grandmother was Mary Ann (Burns) Williams, and she and her family lived in Winston County, Alabama.

That's as far back in the tree as I know. I did think it had to come from somewhere because it's so different. I'd wonder why they'd use pretty plain names and then just make one up.
