Subject: Suki name meaning in Japanese?
Author: Silver Dragon   (guest, 173.206.104.153)

I know this site has a name meaning for Suki in relation to Suzanna with a meaning of 'lily' in Hebrew, but I have heard it used with Japanese decent. I am not sure if it is a nickname for a longer name or not but always female.

From searching the archives I found that 'tsuki' means 'month', but can Suki be a stand alone name in Japanese? Does it actually exist as a short form and if so what is it a short form of? Is there any other meanings related to different kanji that can be used?

Thanks,

~ SD
