Hi have searched for the meaning of my name. Doni. I am a female and i often am mistaked for a male. my name is unique in someways and i was wondering if there are anyother doni's out there or if anyone could help me with the meaning of my name. all i know is the origin is american. thank you sooo much

Where did you parents get the name from, that might help in tracing its origin
At a guess I would say It could possibly be a varient of Donna or a maybe a short form of Donalda / Donaldina or a feminisation of the male name Donny
