Does anbody know the meaning of this name? It's French, may also have Ladino background.

In old French, a "baladine" is the feminine form of a "baladin", meaning a troubadour. But in France it is not a name...

No......she was the mother of the French/Jewish artist Balthus (born Balthazar Klossowski de Rola), and I guess she was born in the 19th century.
