Hi there. I was wondering if anyone knew what the meaning of the name Aris was.

Aris- Male (possibly unisexual) Greek name.

Short for Aristides. My brother-in-law is called Aris(tides)

With Aris I can't help but notice the similarity to two names from Greek mythology, Eros and Ares. There's also Eris but I think that's a female name. Perhaps they are related? Sorry I'm not of more help. Click on the hyperlinks for more info.
