I named my daughter "Jamaia" who is 2 1/2 yrs old (DOB oct 2008) i got the name from my best friend as it was her middle name. Her mother got the name from a movie but changed the spelling. Very special name I believe.

This is very interesting, but to be useful as an etymology we need to have the title of the movie. :)
