Ludovica
Long time ago I read that Ludovica is not a Dutch name, but a Slavic name. It means Illustrious warrior. Thought you guys should know!

I doubt this theory. I mean, if Ludovic or Ludwig aren't Slavic, I think that Ludovica would a bit more Slavic-ally elaborated than just an "a". I agree with Rene's idea.

A search in Google for Ludovica in Cyrillic - лудовика - gives only around 600 hits. With this beeing a Slavic name and currently in use there should be at least thousands of hits. For me this is one more hint that - as usual, by the way - the information on BtN is quite correct: Ludovica has no Slavic origin and probably even isn't in general use in Slavic countries right now.

Ludovica is a feminine form of Ludovic, which is a variation of Ludwig. Read the information under the Ludwig link for an answer to that suggestion.
