The 'Usage' descriptions in the database are not about political or linguistic history; they simply describe where the name is used today. If a name is used in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, then it's a Macedonian name. It doesn't matter where the name came from originally or what language it's being used in today. It's purely about the geographical region in which the name is used.
