The Welsh pronunciation is tal-ee-ES-in. Here's an audio clip:

It's not a very common name in Wales, and never has been. In 2009, 16 boys born in England and Wales were given the name - a rise from 1999, when there were 9 Taliesins. Recent stats are here:
