Hi,my name is Avonlea too! My name came from the Anne of Green Gables series. I have never heard my name anywhere or anyone else named Avonlea!My mom says it is alright to be different from every else,but I AM different from everyone else b/c I have had a double knee surgry not even 4 weeks ago and I had to wear these huge braces on my legs and had to walk on crutches for 2 weeks so went I went to back to school everybody looked and srared at me like I was some freke or something! It relley hurt my feelings b/c thats has had happened before lots of times b/c ever since 5k I have had broken bones,sprangs ....

Avon means "river" (from Brythonic, "abona"/in Welsh river is "afon," which is Anglicized to "Avon" as in the River Avon and the city Stratford-upon-Avon), and Lea is Old English for "clearing/meadow."
