Are they from "Pake" the Old Friesian word for grandfather?
Pake a short from of Paken, from the Old English Pacan?
"Paecc/ Paecci/ Paecca" are postulated, but I cannot find these?
Any thoughts welcome...

What is Pacht meant to be? A given name? A family name? Where did you find it, and how old is it supposed to be?
I can say with some certainty that there is no German given name Pacht currently in use. As another poster already said, Pacht is a German common word ("lease", "rent"), and an identical given name would be very, very unusual anyway.

I don't know if this is the right meaning of the name, but Pacht is a normal german word. I think the english word for Pacht is rent.
