My name is Marie. I was born in 1983. When I was a child I didn't really like my name that much, I'm not really sure why. Maybe it was because not many people had the name. In fact, I don't know anyone with Marie as their first name. I do know quite a few with it as a middle name though. My youngest daughter has Marie as her middle name because I wanted her to have my name as my oldest has my sister's name as her middle name. Now that I am an adult I really like my name and I would recommend it.
