I saw that you write &/or pronounce ABIDAN, ABIA / ABIJAH, when in fact it is pronounced: AVIDAN, AVIYA etc. In hebrew it's a V & not a B.Thanx

Yes, that is the original spelling of the names. But when those Hebrew names were adapted to Greek in the Septuaginta, all the Vs were replaced by Bs. And many bible translations into other languages were based on the Latin text (which usually follows the Greek version) rather than the original Hebrew version. This is why you you are more likely to find ABIGAIL than AVIGAYIL or REBECCA than RIVKAH or DEBORAH than DVORAH. Only the Jewish communities kept the original spellings, and slowly non-Jews begin to discover their beauty.
