In Gaelic, 'ch' is always pronounced hard just as in German and Hebrew. In this name the 'ch' is slender and has a short 'yeh' sound after it. The 'á' is a long [aw] as in 'lawn.' The 'é' is a long [ay] as in 'rein.' Ignore the 'i' and 'a' because they are essentially helping vowels.
