"Damina" could be a diminutive of any of the following:

1. "Damiana" (Greek): "one who tames or subdues". (PriaposLovs will have to verify this one.)

2. "Dama" (Spanish): "lady; noblewoman".

3. "Damma" (Latin): "a fallow-deer or antelope".
