I don't know about the Old Norse form, but this page has a really good description of each sound in the Norwegian form: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/norwegian.htm

In Norwegian it sounds something like AHS-lowg. In Icelandic it sounds more like OWS-luyg. I guess the Old Norse pronounciation was close to todays Icelandic.
