I heard the name Benuel in a documentary about an Amish family but I haven't been able to find any information on it. Does anyone know anything about it or if it's just made up?

I could only find a single page with some info, and it's unclear whether the info about Benuel as a combination of Benjamin and Samuel is corect:

However while Googling around I got the impression that both Benjamin and Samuel are popular among the Amish, so maybe this is not so farfetched.

if they do, it's not very common because that's the first time I've seen it myself, not that I'm an expert on Amish culture but I haven't read or seen anything about that.

There is also the name Penuel (some persons and places in the bible). It may be misheard as Benuel.
