Yup, that's all there is to it. Although it's a slightly biased approach - it's more probable that Julius and the feminine form Julia emerged together, even if the male form is better documented than the female form. Regardless of whether the name is male or female, they all come from the same root word and all have the same meaning.♦ Chrisell ♦
