"Chassity" is a fanciful spelling of the English virtue name: "Chastity". The name (and word itself) means: "the state or quality of being chaste" -- which can be taken to imply perpeptual virginity (an unrealistic expectation of any parent for their offspring).

Or, more realistically, it can be taken to imply that the bearer of the name is chaste in the sense that she is free from obscenity -- she is a decent person who is pure in thought, word, and deed.
