name update
The name database has been updated. This update adds name elements for Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Japanese names. Thanks to Kate and Maks for their work in the submitted names, which was very helpful! In the name descriptions, you may see text like this, as an example:
From Sino-Korean 正 (jeong) meaning "right, proper, correct"
The word "jeong" is a link, allowing you to go to the page for the element. From there you can find other names derived from the same character.Details of the update are here:
http://www.behindthename.com/update/91Unfortunately I did not get too far with my email, other submitted names, or name comments in this update. I hope to get right back into it though.

Very nice, thanks! Glad to see Gunnel listed, it's a pretty common Swedish name.

Nice work! I'm always happy to see updates. One small correction: the pronunciation of Si-U / Si-Woo should be "shee-oo", not "see-oo". 시 is always "shee", not "see".

Deleted names...DISGLEIRIO and HEULOG are Welsh words, not used as names
HOTAKA is a Japanese word, but ultra rare as a name (it is used in anime however)
NUO -- I couldn't find that character used as a given name, though I see that 诺 is, so this could theoretically be re-added
LEIA(2) was merged with LEIA(1) and is now just LEIA
JIN(2), GI/KI, UK/WOOK and YOON/YUN(2) are Korean name elements which are not normally used on their own. Some of these were moved to the name element section.

Hi!Jin can actually be a Japanese name, (another reading of 仁, meaning "compassion, charity") so I was surprised to hear it was deleted. But if it was listed under Korean name, then yeah, it should probably be moved to the element section.
