The "gen-" element of your name probably derives from Celtic "gwen-", meaning "white" or "fair". However, I've most commonly seen the translation "white wave" given to the names Jennifer or Guinevere, altho there seems to be some difference of opinion on that as well.

Hey Gang - has anyone encountered "Genice" or a spelling variant thereof as a standard Celtic name, and does the meaning suggested seem valid?

- Da.
