Just because she has an Irish last name, it doesn't mean that she (or her parents) would know a thing about Ireland or about Gaelic pronunciation rules...
I wouldn't be surprised if an American would pronounced Aislinn phonetically, like Caitlin came to be pronounced Katelyn in the US.Alexandrina, Annabella, Clementine, Charlotte, Emilienne, Florence, Frederica, Katharina, Mary (May), Maud, Penelope, Rosamund, Theodora (Teddy).
