Hi there! I think Ilse would be more like EEL-zeh. Not eel like electric eel, but the "i" sound more like a cross between "ih" like "important" and "ee" like "Easter". And then the 'e' at the end is pronounced "eh" like in "ember". I lived in Austria for a while and it takes a while to pick up on how the 'e' is really pronounced at the end of words... not really "uh" like the English name Sarah, but "eh" like "ember". Hope this helps! :o)
